Welcoming Bradley Pierson as our Canada Advisor

Resolve Forensics is honored to welcome Bradley Pierson as Senior Advisor of our Canadian Operations, an advisory role focused on supporting Canadian-led forensic genomics and forensic investigative genetic genealogy initiatives.

Bradley is the Founder and CEO of Trouvay, a Canadian organization working at the intersection of DNA genealogy, law enforcement, Indigenous partnership, and community-based identification efforts. His work has focused heavily on helping bring home Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives and supporting the thoughtful use of emerging forensic technologies in service of families, communities, and truth.

This relationship reflects an important part of Resolve’s direction. As forensic investigative genetic genealogy continues to grow, we believe the work must be shaped by people who understand the communities, agencies, histories, and relationships involved. That is especially true in Canada, where trust, local leadership, and meaningful partnership are essential.

Bradley brings exactly that perspective.

Through Trouvay, Bradley has helped build approaches to FIGG that center education, consent, respect, and community partnership. His work recognizes that advanced DNA technologies cannot be separated from the people and families they are meant to serve. In cases involving unidentified human remains, violent crime, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives, the science matters deeply, but so does the way the work is introduced, explained, and carried forward.

At Resolve, we believe forensic genomics should be accessible, transparent, and grounded in strong science. We also believe it should be used with humility and community focus. The most powerful technology in the world will fail if it is not paired with trust.

That is why Bradley’s advisory role matters.

As Senior Advisor, Canada Operations, Bradley will advise Resolve on Canadian outreach, agency engagement, partnership strategy, and responsible forensic genomics support for Canadian initiatives. His experience will help ensure that our work in Canada is informed by Canadian leadership, community context, and the values that should guide this field as it continues to evolve.

Bradley’s work reflects a belief we share: advanced DNA technologies should not only help solve cases. They should serve families, strengthen trust, support communities, and help close long-standing gaps in access to forensic resources.

We are grateful for Bradley’s voice, experience, and leadership, and we are honored to work alongside him. Welcome to the Resolve family, Bradley. Let's change the world!
